The Sustainable Family Club is our private Mighty Network, exclusively for members. Request an invite to join our green community.
I’m an educator, award-winning professional producer and founder of the EdTech start-up Buttercup Learning. I'm based in Somerset, UK and our company employees all work virtually. I’m passionate about educating adults and their families on sustainable living and the latest climate science, to build a better future for our children. That’s why I worked hard in 2020 to grow a start-up that would provide global eco and sustainable educational products and learning materials. Buttercup Learning resources are designed for people who want to make their everyday decisions more eco-friendly and take positive action for themselves and their families at home, at work and in their communities.
Today, I’m building the Sustainable Family Club to connect parents and carers just like you from around the world, to inspire and support one another.
Whether you are a family of one, two, three or more, all are welcome.
I started the Sustainable Family Club on Facebook in 2020 and, like many, have found it frustrating and very distracting. As of May 2021, we've moved our community off Facebook and found a new home on Mighty Networks – free from distractions and ads. A space to focus on providing you with quality educational content and a real community.
In 2021 I started a Clubhouse regular room called Sustainable Family Tips and was soon joined by co-hosts Rebecca Heaps from Tentshare and Kirsty Little from Little Recreations. In spring we opened up our permanent club – Sustainable Family Club. We meet regularly on Friday mornings at 9.30 AM GMT.
Inspired by feedback from that audience, and mindful that Clubhouse is an audio-only app, our Mighty Network will provide an inclusive space alongside our regular Clubhouse. Space where you won't be excluded because of hearing loss or deafness.
Your membership fund will allow me to hit the finish line on publishing our first range of conservation and climate science posters with an augmented reality and companion e-learning site, due autumn 2021. These funds will help me pay for marketing, designers, AR developers and educational consultants to bring the project to fruition. You will also contribute to our FREE accessible global e-learning portal to ensure we can support sustainable education for children and schools across the world.
Your support will also allow me to reinvest in growing this community of sustainable families, so that together we can have a positive impact on the planet.
